Honeycomb Activated Carbon is a high-efficiency, low-resistance adsorbent with a unique honeycomb structure, manufactured from high-quality carbonaceous raw materials (coconut shell, coal, wood) combined with environmentally friendly binders, through molding, drying, carbonization, high-temperature activation and precision processing. It is featured by regular honeycomb pores, large specific surface area, low wind resistance, high adsorption capacity and long service life, widely used in gas-phase adsorption, air purification and waste gas treatment fields. Among them, coconut shell-based honeycomb activated carbon is highly recognized in high-end environmental protection projects due to its superior adsorption performance, low ash content and environmental friendliness.
2. Raw Materials & Production Process
2.1 Raw Materials
We provide three types of honeycomb activated carbon to meet different application requirements and budget needs:
- Coal-based Honeycomb Activated Carbon: Made from high-quality bituminous coal, with stable performance, high hardness and cost-effectiveness, suitable for general waste gas treatment.
- Wood-based Honeycomb Activated Carbon: Made from natural wood chips, with moderate adsorption capacity and good biodegradability, suitable for low-concentration waste gas purification.
- Coconut Shell Honeycomb Activated Carbon: Made from 100% high-quality natural coconut shells, without harmful additives, non-toxic, with fine pore structure and strong selective adsorption capacity, suitable for high-end air purification and precious gas recovery.
2.2 Production Process
Raw Material Selection → Crushing & Grinding → Mixing with Binder → Honeycomb Molding → Drying (120-150℃) → Carbonization (600-800℃) → High-Temperature Activation (900-1100℃, steam activation) → Trimming → Quality Inspection → Packaging
